Event Marketing Senior Executive

Job Descriptions:

Event Activation

  • Oversee overall Company’s marketing activities which include Events, Campaigns, Exhibitions, Book Fairs, Seminars, Retail Promotions, Online Promotions etc.
  • Manage projects & events and ensuring marketing plans are executed smoothly and timely.
  • Plan, review and greenlight advertising and promotional materials for events, activities, sales team, retailers.
  • Establish and manage relations with schools, educators, media, government, or non-government agencies.
  • Initiating partnerships with various entities to increase sales channels
    Oversee logistics related to marketing events and roadshows.

Creative Services

  • Connect third party vendors to manage external printing and creative services.
  • Connect with internal and external service providers to prepare marketing & promotion materials when required.
  • Propose and review artwork/marketing materials such as POSM, press release, leaflet and others for events when required.
  • Manage cross-functional planning, strategizing, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • In charge of quality checking, counting, and managing inventory and stock counting for all marketing materials.
  • Allocate and assist other ad-hoc duties related to the department as required.


Digital Services

  • Produce relevant posting & contents for Social Media platforms when required.
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, assist with responding to comments and queries, updating information, monitoring activities etc.
  • Conducting or moderating live & streaming sessions on social media platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day activities on Pelangi’s social media platforms.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries when required.


Requirements:

  • Applicant must have at least a Degree in Event Management/ Business Studies/ Administration/ Business Management/ Marketing/ Public Relations/ Mass Communication/ Advertising/ Media or related field.
  • Applicant must be proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers and organizers from various background.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3-5 year(s) of working experience in marketing events and/or education industry.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel to event site from time to time.
  • Working hours: Full time in office, Monday to Friday, 8.00AM to 5.30PM.

E-Commerce Executive

Job Descriptions:

  • Manage e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopee & Lazada.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain the company e-commerce website(s).
  • Track and analyse sales performance and provide regular internal reports.
  • Plan and monitor company presence and promotion on social media.
  • Review on inventory status for retail & online channels monthly.
  • Update product descriptions.
  • Obtain sales via retail and online to achieve monthly target.
  • Expand unique customer base and sales channels with the adoption and government sales channel (to increase retail or online customer traffic).
  • Review and recommend titles from Pelangi that are suitable for retail and online markets.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have at least Diploma or Degree in E-commerce/ Business Admin/ Marketing/ Advertising or related field.
  • Applicant must have 1 year experience in retail and online business/e-commerce.
  • Fresh graduate will also be considered.
  • Applicant must be familiar e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Lazada or Shopee.
  • Applicant must be proficient in managing Microsoft Excel.
  • Applicant should be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with customer from various background.

Admin Executive

Job Descriptions:

  • Compile, drafts and submits report for daily production totals.
  • Plan, order (with Production Manager's approval) and control inventory of raw materials eg ink, plate, service, machine parts, office consumables and etc.
  • Plan, order (with Production Manager's approval) and control of outsourcing.
  • Prepare costing sheet for selected PO.
  • General administration in production office.
  • Schedule and monitor monthly stock take for finance requirement.
  • Check Delivery Order and Invoices received based on purchases and services rendered by vendors.
  • Attend to Supplier queries or needs through email correspondences and telephone communication.
  • Liaise with HR on staff attendance and general issue.
  • Provide guidance on general system application to staff when required.
  • Keep work area organized and clean.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties related to the department.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have minimum a Diploma/Degree in Business Admin/ Business Management/ Accounting/ Library Management/ Information Management or equivalent.
  • Applicant must have at least 2 years of similar work experience.
  • Applicant must be familiar with ISO Quality documentation.
  • Applicant must be fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors and clients from various background.
  • Working hours: Full time in office, Monday to Friday, 8.00AM to 4.45PM.

Job Descriptions:

  • Handling cash collection and weekly sales report.
  • Perform daily restocking and rearranging of items.
  • Assisting customers for purchase, transaction and enquiries.

Editorial Internship

Internship Descriptions:

Familiarize with the Editorial publishing process

  • To understand the organizational chart of Content team.
  • To understand the procedure of ISO forms.
  • To assist Content Manager on day-to-day basis.
  • To liaise with in-house Knowledge & Creative team regarding daily tasks done.


Evaluate, edit and proofread manuscripts

  • To edit and proofread manuscripts as assigned by Content Manager.
  • To assist in preparation of manuscripts for submission to Creative team (including editing text and artworks, and proofreading).
  • To help in writing and editing book blurbs and other printing promotional materials.
  • To help in evaluating new proposal by authors.

Requirements:
