The Ant and the Grasshopper

The Fox and the Stork

This book is suitable for children age 4 and above. “The Fox and the Stork” is a story about a stork that goes to a fox’s house for dinner. The fox decides to make fun of a stork by treating it to a plate of soup. The stork is unable to drink the soup and leaves the fox’s house hungry. The stork decides to teach the fox a lesson. The next day when the fox goes to the stork’s house for dinner, the stork treats the fox to a tall jar of soup. The fox goes home hungry and realises its mistake.

The Hunter and the Bear

This book is suitable for children age 4 and above. “The Hunters and the Bear” is a story about two hunters who encounter a big bear while hunting in the forest. The bigger hunter then climbs on a tree to hide and leaves the smaller hunter to face the bear alone. Will the smaller hunter be eaten by the bear?

The Lazy Donkey

This book is suitable for children age 4 and above. “The Lazy Donkey” is a story about a farmer and his donkey. The farmer places a bag of salt on the donkey’s back for it to send home. However, the lazy donkey deliberately falls into the river to dissolve the bag of salt. The farmer then decides to teach the donkey a lesson.

This book is suitable for children age 4 and above. “The Silly Goats” is a story about two goats that refuse to give way to each other on an old wooden bridge. They continue to fight on the narrow bridge until it breaks into pieces. Will the goats fall into the river and drown?

The Wolf and the Donkey

This book is suitable for children age 4 and above. “The Wolf and the Donkey” is a story about a hungry wolf and a smart donkey. The donkey pretends to have an injured leg and asks for the wolf’s help. Will the donkey outsmart the wolf or will it be eaten by the wolf?
