《校园丛书系列——校园内外》是将享誉国际的教育家和文学家年红先生过去发表在报刊上的文章以及他人对年红先生的评论文章结集出版。文章内容丰富，涵盖了他在教育界服务多年的教学经历、心得、感想和看法，秉持的教育理念，以及他在校内推行的各项计划和活动。

此外，文章中也分享了他在校外积极推动儿童文学、作文和童诗教学的心得。附录中的文章则是外国学者或教师们参与了年红先生的示范教学课后对他的一些感想与评价。
